Queremos mostrar, en no más de 4 minutos, cómo ha sido nuestro primer año participando y desarrollando nuestros proyectos y todas las actividades de CAS, incluidos los tres meses de confinamiento. Esperemos que os guste.

We want to show, in no more than 4 minutes, how our first year has been participating and developing our projects and all CAS activities, including the three months of confinement. We hope you like it.

Que pasemos todos un verano lo mejor posible y que todos regresemos sanos y salvos al colegio para el próximo curso 2020-2021.

Online Italian classes during confinement

What if your life-long dream of learning Italian gets destroyed by a sudden pandemic? That's what happened to my friend Dana. During the month of May I was able to help her fulfill one of her biggest dreams through free online Italian classes. Dana began the classes with a non-existing level of Italian and ended the course with a beginner to elementary level of Italian. She learned about the basics of Italian, essential verbs and verb structures, and Italian culture all through these lessons. Dana is now able to take part in basic communication with Italians and understand conversational Italian without issues. I'm really proud of her, Brava Dana!

In tutto il mondo noi Italiani siamo conosciuti per la nostra stupenda cultura e la nostra lingua. Per molti studiare l'Italiano è un desiderio che spesso non viene esaudito a causa di mancanza di corsi o accesso a un'insegnante. Durante questa pandemia ho deciso di aiutare un'amica a esaudire questo desiderio attraverso lezioni gratuite di italiano online. Durante questo corso Dana ha imparato riguardo alle strutture verbali (le coniugazioni etc.) e a utilizzare le basi dell'Italiano per fare conversazione con noi madrelingua. All'inizio del corso Dana non aveva alcuna conoscenza della nostra lingua ma dopo un mese di corso è ora capace di capire semplici conversazioni e di comunicare con un madrelingua Italiano. Sono molto fiera di lei, Brava Dana!

2ª visita online Residencia Savia

Hoy, durante una hora aproximadamente. Hemos tenido la oportunidad de saludar y conversar con varios de los residentes con los que solemos interactuar cuando vamos a la residencia.
Por lo que hemos podido comprobar, todos se encuentran bien con lo que respecta al virus, pero si que nos han mostrado su pena porque no podamos ir a visitarlos, a hablar, a abrazarnos y a intercambiar besos.
Algunos de ellos han comentado que se les está haciendo pesado el confinamiento y que, además, también han tenido que distanciarse entre ellos.
La TASCO y la psicóloga también nos han comentado que ellos también han tenido que separarse por las medidas de seguridad. A pesar de todo, nos alegramos por los residentes y nos congratulamos de que el personal de la residencia sea ten eficiente y los haya cuidado también.
Esperemos poder visitarlos a partir de septiembre aunque sea desde fuera del recinto, porque lo más importante es la seguridad de todos ellos.

Today, for about an hour. We have had the opportunity to greet and chat with several of the residents that we usually interact with when we go to the residence.

From what we have been able to verify, everyone is fine with regard to the virus, but they have shown us their sorrow because we can not go to visit them, talk, hug and exchange kisses.

Some of them have commented that their confinement is becoming heavy and that, in addition, they have also had to distance themselves from each other.

TASCO and the psychologist have also told us that they have also had to separate due to security measures. Despite all this, we are happy for the residents and we congratulate that the staff of the residence is efficient and has taken care of them too.

We hope to be able to visit them from September even if it is from outside the premises, because the most important thing is the safety of all of them.
